Tong has more than eight years of professional experience in public accounting and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2015. He has completed CPA in-depth tax courses in 2019. Tong is also a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and sits at the steering committee of the Young Practitioners Group.
 
Prior to joining Paper Plane, Tong articled at a national accounting firm and was part of the Deloitte tax team for over 5 years. He has been involved in projects including business reorganizations, purchase and sale of businesses, estate and succession planning as well as real estate transactions and personal tax planning.
 
Tong's primary focus at Paper Plane, as one of its founders and tax advisors, is tax compliances and planning for private corporations and high net worth individual clients. It is his passion and goal to always bring the most thoughtful tax solutions for you and your business.
